POLICIES
Accessibility
Our commitment to making this website usable for as many people as possible.
We aim to provide a website experience that is accessible to users of varying abilities. This page describes our approach and how you can request assistance. This site is a design prototype.
1. Our commitment
We strive to design and develop pages that:
- Support keyboard navigation
- Provide meaningful text alternatives for important non-text content where practical
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for readable text
- Use semantic structure (headings, landmarks, labels) to aid assistive technologies
- Scale reasonably with browser zoom and responsive layouts
2. Standards we reference
Where feasible, we reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical target. Full conformance is an ongoing effort and may not be achieved on every page of this prototype.
3. Known limitations
As a design prototype, some features may have limitations, including:
- Complex interactive components that may need further ARIA refinement
- Third-party embeds or images that may lack complete alternatives
- PDF or downloadable documents that are not yet fully accessible
4. Assistive technologies
The site is intended to work with common modern browsers and assistive technologies. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can improve the experience.
5. Feedback and requests
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this website, or need content in an alternative format, please contact us through the Contact page. Include:
- The page or feature you were trying to use
- A description of the problem
- Your browser, device, and any assistive technology in use (optional)
We will review requests and respond as promptly as reasonably possible.
6. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review feedback and prioritize fixes that improve usability for the widest range of users.
